EVAN PILGRIM 2018 The Guest Speaker for the 3rd Dennis Wirgowski Football Camp was 6 year NFL player

The Guest Speaker for the 3rd Dennis Wirgowski Football Camp was 6 year NFL player Evan Pilgrim. At the Free Wirgowski Football Camp Evan Pilgrim will address the camp participants during the afternoon break on how to succeed in playing football the correct way.   Along with the Camp theme of "Playing Safe and Playing Smart", Pilgrim will touch on his own football career.

 

The Antioch, California native who was an All-State Football player would play 3 Varsity sports while in High School. Evan then took his talents to BYU (Brigham Young University) for four years culminating in Kodiak All-American honors his senior year. Evan also played in the Senior Bowl before being drafted in the 3rd round of the 1996 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears. While at BYU the 6'4" offensive lineman would set all kinds of NCAA records for a couple of years. Pilgrim also would set the BYU record for bench press at 510 pounds. Evan had a 6 year career in the NFL with four different teams. He is looking forward to speaking to the camp participants on playing football.
